A leading audit, tax and consulting firm has joined Generation Next as its latest partner.

RSM services middle market leaders globally, and has offices based in Leicester and Nottingham.

It has joined Generation Next to help maintain its work in supporting young professionals and entrepreneurs from across the East Midlands.

The company will now receive exposure via Generation Next’s channels and feature in events run for members of the network. Members of the RSM team will also have access to places on the Generation Next membership service.

Generation Next is run by East Midlands Chamber, and features a series of networking and educational events led by a range of regionally based companies and specialist advisers, with the aim of developing its members’ professional networks and skills.

RSM will also support the Volunteer Award in the Generation Next Awards 2022 programme, which will launch on 17 March.

Lucy Robinson, East Midlands Chamber director of resources and Generation Next lead, said: “We are delighted to welcome RSM on board as a partner of Generation Next.

“The firm has a fantastic reputation for being one of the leading audit, tax and consulting companies in the UK, so it is great to have the team in Leicester and Nottingham supporting Generation Next.

“We are looking forward to building on its already strong partnership with the Chamber and tapping into its expertise to help our members.”

RSM has more than 3,650 partners and staff in the UK and access to 51,000 people in more than 120 countries across its network – making it the sixth largest network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms in the world.

Deviesh Raikundalia, RSM UK’s restructuring advisory director in the East Midlands, said: “RSM is proud to be a long standing member of East Midlands Chamber and now supporting Generation Next. RSM has committed to ‘growing our own’ talent, striving for all of our people to reach their full potential.

“It is therefore a privilege that we are able to acknowledge upcoming talent and the potential future leaders across the East Midlands. Being part of Generation Next goes a long way towards supporting this commitment.”

RSM will be one of 10 partners of the network, alongside Nottingham University Business School, Loughborough College, Hardy Signs, MHA MacIntyre Hudson, Fraser Stretton and headline partner the University of Derby.
