Meet Max Polfrey – one of our youngest and most inspiring members. At just 12 years old, Max is already turning heads in the business world as the co-founder of Derby-based startup Comfa, which designs sensory-friendly clothing for neurodivergent children.

Finalist in the Creators and Makers category at the 2024 Generation Next Awards, Max recently featured on Dragons’ Den this month, becoming one of the youngest entrepreneurs ever to pitch in the Den. Alongside his dad and co-founder Matt, Max shared the story behind his innovative product: the Fidget-T, a T-shirt with built-in pop fidgets, encased seams and peel-off tags, designed to support sensory regulation and comfort for young people.

Max’s journey shows that age is no barrier to innovation. We’re proud to have him as part of the Generation Next network and can’t wait to see what he does next!
