Dean Jackson is the founder and owner of Derby born sportswear and triathlon specialist HUUB Design. He established HUUB on the foundations of technology, research, and their importance in shaping products to enhance performance. From humble origins, directed by Dean, starting on the kitchen table, HUUB became a mover in the industry and soon became the number one triathlon brand in the world. It wasn’t long until Dean’s pursuit of performance and technology cascaded into other sports, through the HUUB Wattbike Cycle team and links with some of the greatest minds in cycling Dean took HUUB from a pure triathlon brand to a force in cycling. HUUB now supplies specialist products to a number of the world’s best athletes and teams across a variety of professional sports.
Last year, we recognised 10 young professionals, apprentices, managers and entrepreneurs from a variety of industries, including creative, IT, charity and professional services to name a few. Everyone came together for a summer celebration at Bustler Market in Derby for an alternative awards ceremony, full of delicious street food, inspirational stories and feel-good anthems.
Winners for this year’s programme will be announced in July 2023 – which promises to be another fantastic opportunity to raise your profile and meet new contacts.
