What to expect

A minimum of 8 hour time commitment, over four months per mentee
Flexibility on how and when you meet your mentee including face-to-face meetings, Microsoft Teams/Zoom meetings, email correspondence or phone calls
The requirement to attend an initial ‘Meet your Mentor’ event with the Generation Next team.

Generation Next mentors and members can take part in an accredited online CPD course on “mentoring in the workplace” run by the University of Derby. It helps delegates prepare for becoming a mentor and developing a valuable mentoring relationship. Sign up here.
