This event will mark the announcement of the finalists for the Generation Next Awards 2024.

Our awards recognise young talent from across the East Midlands business community, and at this event, you will join our board, partners and team in celebrating this year’s shortlist of young professionals and entrepreneurs.

At all of our events, we aim to create comfortable environments for young professionals to connect with like-minded peers and build new contacts, wherever they are on their business journey - and this event will be an ideal environment to build new relationships within the business community.

Founder of Mental Roots

Nathan Addai is an award-winning animator and entrepreneur, with additional experience in youth work and more recently within the mental health sector. He is the founder of Mental Roots, a growing multimedia brand incorporating animation, workshops and podcasting to highlight various ‘minority-ethnic’ experiences in mental health. The first Mental Roots animation was commissioned by Rural Media and released by the BBC.
