This event will mark the announcement of the finalists for the Generation Next Awards 2023.

Our awards recognise young talent from across the East Midlands business community, and at this event, you will join our board, partners and team in celebrating this year’s shortlist of young professionals and entrepreneurs.

At all of our events, we aim to create comfortable environments for young professionals to connect with like-minded peers and build new contacts, wherever they are on their business journey - and this event will be an ideal environment to build new relationships within the business community.

Winner of last year's Community Award Taylor Gee will be speaking about his business journey, volunteering and how winning the Generation Next award changed his life by giving him the courage to start his own business.

Taylor is a Garden Designer and Co-Founder of Design Only Gardens, which is a garden design practice based in Leicester.

Taylor started his journey working for a large garden design and build agency in Leicester and, following a short break, he returned to the industry following a partnership formed between himself and his former mentor, Jake.

He is going to talk about his business journey, volunteering and how winning the Generation Next award changed his life by giving him the courage to start his own business.
