Event Overview

Here at Generation Next, we aim to create comfortable environments for young professionals to connect with likeminded peers and build new business contacts, wherever they are on their business journey.

So we've joined forces with Nelsons Solicitors to bring you our May Social, where you will get the chance to experience an evening of networking while enjoying drinks from the bar, playing a game of pool and nibbling on snacks.

We’ll hear from our guest speaker Ben Bradley, a Conservative MP for Mansfield. Ben will be talking about his story and how he became an MP for Mansfield at the age of 27.

We will also have music and snacks, and all attendees can enjoy a bottle of beer, glass of prosecco or soft drink from the bar.

Ben Bradley

MP for Mansfield

Ben became Member of Parliament for Mansfield in the snap General Election in June 2017. In 2018, Ben was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Conservative Party, with responsibility for youth engagement. He resigned from this role in July 2018 in order to be able to speak out for his constituents on Brexit. In 2019, Ben was re-elected as the MP for Mansfield with a 16’306 majority, the largest Conservative increase in the Country.
In May 2021, he became Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council. He has since played an integral part in negotiating and supporting key projects in the region, such as the EM Freeport, EM Development Corporation and the East Midlands Combined Authority devolution deal.
