Being able to manage your time effectively can help you improve your productivity. Excellent time management skills assist you to plan your daily workload, prepare for meetings and complete your targets on time.

Peer Networks is a peer-to-peer networking programme that is delivered locally by the network of Growth Hubs across England. We create diverse cohort groups of individuals to collaboratively work through common business issues. Through interactive action learning, we enable you to discuss your own challenges, gain and reflect on valuable feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them.

Our awards recognise young talent from across the East Midlands business community, and at this event, you will join our board, partners and team in celebrating this year’s shortlist of young professionals and entrepreneurs. This event will be held in Leicestershire, with the venue to be confirmed shortly.

Effective leaders have a responsibility to set a clear vision for their team, enhance productivity, boost morale but also support the people within the team to grow. There are several different leadership styles suitable for distinct personalities and workplaces, it's therefore important to establish what leadership model suits you and your team the best.

If you love the great outdoors, join Generation Next at Twycross Zoo on a leisurely guided walk around the wonderful the zoo and nature reserve. We will get to meet several animals along the way.

Workplace wellbeing relates to all aspects of working life, from the quality and safety of the physical environment, to how you feel about your workplace, colleagues and organisation. Generation Next will be exploring healthier habits you can adopt to ensure you achieve a balanced and happier mindset, to enhance your productivity inside and outside of work.

If you love the great outdoors, then join us on a light 45-minute stroll around the Wollaton Hall grounds. Get to know likeminded young professionals from the Generation Next network, while taking a break from the office to enjoy the park's surroundings.

Creating and monitoring budgets is a useful and transferable skill for young professionals – particularly those with ambitions to progress to higher management, who are typically involved in organising departmental budgets. Generation Next will explore the topic further in its February webinar.

To stand out from the crowd, young professionals and businesses need to present their achievements and skills in a positive way through online or face-to-face communication. This can be crucial in attracting new business connections and opportunities.

The Chamber's Annual General Meeting is a great opportunity to engage with the Chamber's board of directors and senior leadership team and provides an update on the Chamber's progress and achievements over the past 12 months.
