Shivani is a Paralegal at Brethertons LLP and works in the Property Litigation Department, alongside studying with CILEx Law School, in hopes to qualify as a Charted Legal Executive Lawyer in the near future.

Shivani was appointed President of the Leicestershire Junior Lawyers Division in January 2023. Within a short space of her appointment, she has built key relationships with local businesses and broadened the Junior Lawyer community within Leicestershire by hosting a roster of networking events with the LJLD committee.

Shivani recently rolled out a mentorship initiative with an aim to reach Law Students at Leicester Universities, offering insights and guidance into the legal industry. Shivani is keen to network and meet like-minded individuals with a common drive. Shivani did not embark upon her legal career by the traditional route and understands the importance of having confidence in your ability, perseverance and learning good people and business skills.

Outside of work remits, Shivani enjoys going to the gym, and running; she has recently begun training for the London Half Marathon! She has also taken up HotPodYoga this year, which she highly recommends. Shivani loves cooking,  brunching with friends, spending time with family and travelling as and when she can!
